2nd Grade Violin

This program began in 1998, teaching third grade students how to play the violin. Students that were a product of this program needed somewhere to continue their music training and the Decatur Youth Symphony began! Through the years this program has sparked the imaginations and desires of young students across our community to continue specific music education. We are proud to be able to still provide a place for them to learn and play! 

Now, the program is offered to all second graders in Decatur City Schools and is beginning to expand into some Morgan County, Lawrence County, and Hartselle City schools.
